
Meet Our Chef![]() Tammy Hurley, Executive ChefCork Factory Hotel is proud to introduce Tammy Hurley as executive chef. Tammy grew up working on her family farm in Lancaster County where she learned to appreciate the fresh taste of our local fruits and vegetables. As a young girl, Tammy spent countless hours in the kitchen cooking and baking with her mother. Her childhood dream to become a chef later turned into a reality. Tammy received a culinary arts degree from Johnson & Wales University in 1994 and served her externship at Pinehurst, North Carolina. She then began her professional career with Walt Disney World's prestigious catering team. After her extensive training with Walt Disney World, Tammy continued her career in Lancaster County at several renowned local restaurants, such as Log Cabin Inn, Donecker's and JM's Bistro & Pub. Within four years, Tammy took her culinary knowledge back to the sunny state as sous chef and banquet chef for Planet Hollywood at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Tammy made her final move back to Pennsylvania in 2001, and has spent the past nine years at the notable William Penn Inn and Normandy Farms as pastry chef and banquet chef.
