Alexa and Blake were ahead of the “micro wedding” trend with their celebration! With a guest list of 18 total guests, their wedding was exactly the way they wanted -- intimate with their closest friends and family in attendance. Alexa also picked her “dream team” of vendors as she still wanted to have traditional wedding ceremony and reception elements (DJ for dancing, photo booth, etc.).

Petals With Style beautifully decorated the chandeliers in the Warehouse which accented Shumaker’s rustic wooden ceremony backdrop perfectly.

The Reception

Alexa and Blake elected to add creativity to their menu by selecting three signature cocktails for their guests based on the couple’s personal favorite drinks, and they event created one for their beloved dog, Poppy:

Bride's: Mexican Mule
silver tequila, ginger beer, lime juice and cointreau

Groom's: Spiked Arnold Palmer
bourbon, sweet tea and lemonade

Poppy's: Colorado Bulldog
kahlua, coke, vodka, and cream
